In addition to collecting, building and growing my own personal collection of building blocks, I spent much of the past 20 years working with children in both the summer camp and classroom environments. I spent five years teaching English and Theatre Arts for grades 6-12 and endured through one of the greatest challenges the school system as a whole has ever faced; COVID-19. 

 

I attend and am an active member at Winn’s Creek Baptist Church and have lived in Halifax for the majority of my life, with the exception of my years In Harrisonburg, VA, Massachusetts and Maine. After many whirlwind adventures, I chose to move back home not only because I missed my family and friends, but because I believe in Halifax and know there is great potential for our community to grow and flourish.
